Rispana-Bindal Elevated Road Project to Gain Speed

Jagran Correspondent, Dehradun: In the state, elevated road projects are being implemented over rivers where mega projects (full-fledged projects) have already been approved. The ₹6200 crore Rispana-Bindal elevated road project has received approval from the central government. Now, verification of land and buildings in the project-affected areas has begun. In the next phase, construction work will start.
This elevated road project will be built above ground level, connecting both rivers over a total stretch of 26 kilometers.
The construction process of the elevated road is gaining momentum. Settlement study work for land in the project area has begun.

Bindal River
- Starting Point: Near Kargi Chowk (Haridwar Bypass Road)
- End Point: Rajpur Road (Near Sai Mandir)
- Length: 14.8 kilometers
- Width: 20.2 meters and 6.5 meters (shoulder)
- Major Junctions: Lalpul Chowk, Bindal Tiraha (Kachahri Road), Haridwar Road, and Mussoorie Diversion
- Design Speed: 60 km/h
- Total Cost: ₹3743 crore
Rispana River
- Starting Point: Rispana Bridge (Near Vidhan Sabha)
- End Point: Nagal Bridge (Nagal)
- Length: 10.946 kilometers
- Width: 20.2 meters and 6.5 meters (shoulder)
- Major Junctions: Sahastradhara Chowk and IT Park
- Design Speed: 60 km/h
- Total Cost: ₹2509 crore
